Where It All Began

Amelia Le Mar was created from a simple idea. Swimwear should make you feel confident, not uncomfortable.

Founder Amelia Chew had always loved swimwear, but struggled to find pieces that were stylish, supportive and made to fit real bodies. Most brands focused on model-perfect proportions, leaving everyone else feeling overlooked.

Amelia wanted to change that. She set out to build a body positive swimwear brand that speaks to real women and creates flattering designs that feel good to wear.

What began as a personal frustration turned into a mission.

Today, Amelia Le Mar is a growing Australian small business dedicated to helping women feel comfortable, confident and beautiful at the beach, by the pool or wherever summer takes them.

Meet Amelia

Amelia is the heart behind Amelia Le Mar. As someone whose body changes from season to season, she understands the challenge of finding swimwear that truly fits and feels supportive. That personal experience shapes everything she does.

Amelia handles every part of the business herself, from selecting designs and choosing fabrics to packing orders and responding to customer messages. She only offers pieces she would genuinely wear, prioritising flattering fits, thoughtful details and high quality fabrics including ribbed, nylon and spandex blends.

Her goal is simple. To create a friendly, personal shopping experience and offer swimwear that helps women feel confident in their own skin.
